By booking or attending a MeowCraft Studio class or workshop and purchasing goods from MeowCraft Studio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

All purchasing and bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By placing a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by them.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Cancellation, Reschedule & Refund Policy
*All the reschedule requests must be made by email to info@meowcraft.co.uk only*
Customer Cancellations

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the class date: Refund available, subject to a £10 administration fee or option to reschedule once free of charge, subject to availability.

Cancellations made 3–6 days before the class date: No refund will be issued and no reschedule.

Cancellations made less than 3 days before the class date or non-attendance: No refund will be issued and no reschedule.

MeowCraft Studio is not responsible if a child is unable or unwilling to stay for the session. No refund will be offered in such cases. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
MeowCraft Studio Cancellations

In the rare event that MeowCraft Studio must cancel a class (e.g. unforeseen circumstances), will notify you as soon as possible. Customers will be offered the option to reschedule once at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible or not suitable, a full refund will be provided. No other compensation shall be payable.
Late Arrival & Absent Policy

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before your class so we can begin on time.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may not be able to join the session, as it disrupts the flow of the class and instructions already given. Please contact us as soon as possible by email to info@meowcraft.co.uk.We will do our best to advise, but entry cannot be guaranteed after the start time.

If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, entry will not be granted and no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.

If you are absent and do not attend your booked class (no-show), no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.
Force Majeure

MeowCraft Studio is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, power outages, staff illness, or government restrictions.

In such cases, customers will be offered the option to reschedule once at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible or not suitable. Refunds may not guaranteed. No further compensation will be payable.
Booking & Payment Terms

Bookings are confirmed only once full payment has been received.
-
Accepted payment methods include online card payment, or cash in-store. Customers choosing cash in-store must pay at MeowCraft Shop, 43 Shambles, York (YO1 7LX).

All prices are listed in GBP (£). VAT is included where applicable.

Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card or, if the card has subsequently expired, other payment details will be required.

Payments made by gift voucher will be refunded by issuing a replacement gift voucher of the same value. No cash or card refund will be given for gift vouchers.
Gift Vouchers & Discounts

Gift vouchers and promotional discounts are valid only for the period stated at purchase, usually 6–12 months.

Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Vouchers and discounts only be redeemed against MeowCraft Studio products or services.
Children's Participation & Liability Policy
Minimum Age
-
The Fluid Figure Art Experience is suitable for children aged 8 years and above.
-
Children aged 8+ must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who also purchases a full-price ticket for their own figure. Sharing one figure between parent/guardian and child is not permitted.
-
Children aged 5–7 years may attend only if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The child must purchase a full-price ticket, and the parent/guardian must also purchase a ticket at 50% of the standard price.

Children under 5 years old are not permitted to participate.
Supervision
-
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or carer during the session. We find classes work best when parents support their child if needed, and children are more likely to join in if their parent is involved.

Children aged 12 years and above may attend sessions without a parent present. In these cases, parents must provide up-to-date emergency contact details and arrange drop-off and collection.

Children must be collected at the end of the session by a known adult. Proof of ID may be required. Please check pick-up times and arrive promptly.
Parents’ Responsibilities

Parents or carers must inform MeowCraft Studio staff if the child or accompanying adult is suffering from any illness or infectious disease prior to the session.

Parents or carers must notify MeowCraft Studio of any allergies in advance. This should be shared directly with a member of staff.
-
Parents and carers must complete a registration form for each child before the session, including a contact number and relevant medical information.
Liability & Personal Belongings

Participation in workshops involves the use of fluid acrylic paints, resin, and other art materials which may cause permanent stains or damage to clothing, shoes, accessories, mobile phones, bags and other personal belongings. MeowCraft Studio accepts no responsibility for any such stains or damage.

Aprons and gloves are provided, but participants are still advised to wear suitable attire and take precautions.

Customers are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times while attending MeowCraft Studio classes or visiting the premises.

MeowCraft Studio accepts no responsibility or liability for loss, theft, stains, or damage to clothing, footwear, phones, bags, or other items, or for accidents, allergic reactions, injuries, or illnesses that may occur before, during, or after the session.

By booking, parents/guardians and participants accept full responsibility for their own property and wellbeing and agree to release MeowCraft Studio from any claims relating to their participation.

Parents/guardians remain fully responsible for their children at all times, including where children aged 12 years and above attend sessions without a parent present. Emergency contact details must always be provided.

By booking, participants (and parents/guardians in the case of children) accept full responsibility for their own property and wellbeing and agree to release MeowCraft Studio from any related claims.
Pregnancy Advisory

Some workshop materials (such as paints, mediums, and resins) may contain chemicals or fumes. Please consult your healthcare provider or medical professional before engaging in such activities to ensure they align with your specific health circumstances.

MeowCraft Studio accepts no responsibility or liability for any issues, complications, or health impacts arising from attendance during pregnancy.
Health & Safety

All participants take part in workshops and activities at their own risk.

Customers must follow all safety instructions given by MeowCraft Studio staff.
-
The studio reserves the right to refuse entry or stop a session if a participant behaves in a way that risks safety.
Refreshments
-
A small refreshment area is available, offering packaged snacks and drinks.
-
No outside food or drinks may be consumed on the premises.
-
Customers are responsible for notifying staff of any allergies before purchase. MeowCraft Studio does not accept liability for allergic reactions.
Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

Respectful behaviour is expected at all times in the studio.
-
MeowCraft Studio reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant acting in a disruptive, abusive, or unsafe manner.
-
No refund will be issued in such cases.
Intellectual Property Disclaimer – Fluid Figures
-
The blank figures used in MeowCraft Studio workshops are sourced from third-party suppliers.
-
All copyrights, trademarks, and design rights in the original figure shapes remain the property of their respective owners.
-
Workshop participation gives customers the opportunity to decorate and keep their personalised figure for personal, non-commercial use only.
-
Customers may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the designs, moulds, or figures beyond their individual workshop creation.
Photography & Media Use
-
MeowCraft Studio will take photographs or videos during workshops for promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, or other marketing materials. If you prefer not to be included, please notify staff in writing before your session begins.

By booking a MeowCraft experience (class) without informing us that you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you give us permission to use such images and footage in our publicity materials. This applies to both adult participants and children. For children, consent must be provided by a parent or guardian.

Customers may take personal photos/videos during their session, provided they do not disrupt the class or other participants.
Privacy Policy

MeowCraft Studio collects personal information (such as name, email, phone, date of birth and payment details) only for the purpose of managing bookings, purchases and communication.

Information is stored securely and never shared with third parties, except where required for payment processing.

By booking or purchasing, customers agree to be contacted with relevant updates about their booking or order.

Customers may also choose to receive promotional emails about new workshops, special offers, or events. Consent will be requested at the time of booking or signup, and customers may unsubscribe at any time.
Complaints Procedure

MeowCraft Studio aims to provide a high-quality experience for all customers. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please raise your concern with a member of staff at the time, so we have the opportunity to resolve it immediately.

If your complaint cannot be resolved during your visit, you may submit a written complaint by email to info@meowcraft.co.uk. Please include your booking details and a full description of the issue.

We aim to reply to all written complaints within 14 working days.

All complaints will be handled fairly, confidentially, and with the aim of resolving matters promptly.
